Newcastle parkrun: 24/Sept/11: Results

Congratulations go out to Graham King who completed his 50th parkrun on Saturday morning in a time of 20:06. Graham was also 1st in his age category as he goes from strength to strength. For completing 50 parkruns, Graham will be awarded the exclusive 50 Club T-shirt to wear with pride. Well done Graham.

Our highest finisher this week was Dave Appleby who crossed the line in 8th position in a time of 17:57 and an age grading of 80.87%

Huge congratulations also go to Alan Wallace & Megan Brette for recording new PB’s. Alan notched up a hattrick of consecutive PB’s at Newcastle parkrun beating his previous time by a massive 21 seconds. Good work Alan

Megan recorded a brand new PB of 27:58, which, compared to her time of just 4 weeks ago (29:57) means Megan has knocked off an incredible 1:59 off her previous 5k time. The training at Tyne Bridge Harriers is certainly paying off. Well done Megan, fantastic stuff.

    Well done Graham for getting the 50 parkruns.. brilliant stuff. Nice on Alan & Megan on those PB’s.

    Alan, there is no stopping you.. the sub 20 can’t be too far off now !!

    Megan, that is an incredible amount of time to chip off in 4 weeks.. keep up the great work.
