(note: the first three senior male/female athletes also picked up North Eastern Counties Athletic Association medals as the event also doubled as the NECAA 5 Miles Championship race).
Huge thanks to everyone involved in the race; the good folk from The Tyne Bar for use of their premises, Mark and his team from Results Base, the county officials for ensuring the event went ahead smoothly, the kind sponsors (see below) who supported the event, all the TBH members who volunteered during the event, the TBH Race Committee who did all ‘dirty’ work behind the scenes for the previous six months or so, and finally, massive thanks to all the runners who took part in the race. If it wasn’t for your support year after year, there wouldn’t be a Bridges of the Tyne race to write about.

PLSE COULD YOU CHECK RESULTS JOANNE BROWN IS IN V40 CATAGORY SHOULD HAVE GOT 3RD PRIZE AND HAS 2ND V45.. ALSO I THIK KERRIE OLD SHOULD HAVE GOT 3RD V35 AS SHE CAME IN BEFORE VICTORIA BOOTH?? FROM PONTELAND RUNNERS

Not on FB so just wanted to say massive thank you to all the people doing all the background donkey work on making this race happen and to all our lovely marshalls. I got to do the fun part which was running it!!! It was a great night – go TBH !!!!
