There were several worthwhile nominees for June’s Member of the Month award (Louise Lennox, Laura Dickson, Paul Waller, Michelle Bannan and Morag Kerry just a handful of names from the list), but the voting panel have selected – with an unanimous decision – Jacqueline Etherington 
Jacqueline’s achievement’s in June were more than most members achieve throughout the year, and read like this;
Jacqueline
4 senior Club Records – Discus, Javelin, Hammer and (equal) 100m
2 NEMAA (North East Masters) Championship Records – Discus and Javelin
6 Gold Medals in the NEMAA Championships – 100m, Discus, Javelin, Hammer, Shot and Long Jump
Blaydon Races – knocking 3m 30s off her PB time and being part of the winning Ladies Team
5K Sunshine Run – her time of 20.04 was Jacqueline’s quickest in 10 years (and 2nd quickest ever) and was good enough for a 3rd place finish.
