TBH Member of the Month: May 2015

Another month, and another difficult process of selecting Member of the Month for May 2015.

The month witnessed some fantastic performances by members, with countless PB’s and club records being set, both on the track and in road races.

Two major running events occurred during May – The Sunderland Festival and the Edinburgh Marathon Festival – and it’s from one of these events that our Member of the Month emerges. But before naming the winner, just a quick mention about two members who narrowly missed out on the award.

Firstly, Rachel Adamson, who ran a terrific half-marathon PB at Edinburgh and also set a new 10K PB during Clive Cookson race. And joining Rachel on the ‘runner’s up’ podium is Steve Pattison, who set club records in both the Mile and Marathon categories, as well as finishing 1st MV55 in the EMF 5k race.

Well done Rachel and Steve

But Member of the Month for May 2015 is LOUISE RODGERS :good:

Louise

Louise

Louise had a fantastic month, not only finishing 1st Lady in the Sunderland Half-Marathon but also being part of the TBH Ladies team that finished a terrific 4th in the British Masters Road Relay Championships.

Unfortunately, Louise can’t always attend club training sessions due to work and other commitments, but if there’s a more dedicated member when it come’s to club races and events, then I’ve yet to meet that person.

Congratulations Louise.

Ahhh I’m over the moon to be member of the month as May was a good month for everyone. Without wanting to sound like I’ve won the X Factor, thank you to everyone who voted :-) I promise to continue zooming round sunny Seaham and keep trying to win stuff. X
