TBH Member of the Month: January 2015

Many congratulations to January’s Member of the Month Alison Dargie.

Not only is Alison continuing to get better and better, but her terrific form is also earning her recognition from her peers, more of which later.

The month began at the Durham Cathedral Relays, where Alison was a member of the Silver medalist V35 team and also won the V35 prize for quickest veteran female.

This was followed by a superb performance at the Northern Cross Country Championships, where an outstanding run by Alison saw her finish 26th overall.

And then yesterday, at the latest North East Harrier League fixture at Jarrow, Alison posted the 2nd quickest time in the Senior Women’s race, finished 6th overall (starting from the fast pack) and helped the TBH Ladies retain their position at the top of the table.

To cap off a fine month, Alison has just been selected for the North East Counties senior ladies team for the Inter Counties Cross-Country Championships at Cofton Park, Birmingham on March 7.

Well done Alison

Thankyou so much, I’m really delighted – loving the TBH effect on my running! Makes up for being trashed by my daughter elsewhere on this site.
