The club is delighted to announce IAN PICKETT as January’s Member of the Month.
MotM: Ian Pickett
Within minutes of asking for nominations, Ian’s name arrived in droves from club members.
His selfless organisation of the coach trip to January’s Brass Monkey event was commented by most involved on the journey, with many attributing their race PB/good performance down to the relaxed and stress free experience prior to the race.
Ian has also taken time out to resurrect the Strength & Conditioning Sessions for the benefit of all club members.
Congratulations Ian.
A special mention of two other members nominated for January’s award.
Firstly, Finn Brodie who came 2nd at the Brass Monkey HM and was 1st counter at the Northerns XC Championships, and secondly, Becky Parkin, who is going from strength to strength with PB’s at the Brass Monkey HM and the club’s Winter 5K GP. Becky was also a member of the Ladies team that finished 15th at the Northerns XC.
