Many thanks to all the race officials and competing North East clubs for making it a tremendous day of competition, and many congratulations to all the race winners.
And finally, well done to the Tyne Bridge members who volunteered throughout the day.
There’s been nothing but positive feedback following the event, both in terms of organisation and the course layout, and although Tyne Bridge didn’t feature in any of the prize ceremonies, the respect shown from other clubs more than makes up for not picking up a medal.

Well done to everybody who organised this event yesterday it was an excellent venue , right in the middle of the City. The course was tough, as it should be and let’s hope it’s a regular location for XC
