The club are happy to announce the introduction of a new competition for it’s members.
The competition, called The TBH Cup, involves members taking part in six local road races over the summer months, with their best 5 results to count.
The event is open to all standard of running and welcomes participants from all the training groups.
Just like the club’s Harrier League grand prix series, the TBH Cup will use a handicap scoring system which hopefully will provide every competitor an equal chance of success.
The first race in the series is the NSP Cookson 10k (a fast, 2 lap course which has great PB potential), which takes place on 22 May 2013.
This is followed by;
Blaydon race: 9 June 2013
Tynedale 10k: 3 July 2013 (NB This event also incorporates Tyne Bridge Harriers Club Championship Race)
Sunderland 5k: 17 July 2013
Morpeth 10k: 6 August 2013
Tynedale 10 mile: 1 September 2013
The TBH Cup is free to enter but members must pay their own race fees for the above events.
