We start this weekend’s roundup at Inverness parkrun, where Alex Lockwood and Chris Graham were both staying in preparation for the Loch Ness Marathon, which was taking place the following day (you can check out how they fared during the marathon here).
Meanwhile, closer to home, six members battled the horrendous conditions around Newcastle Town Moor. Very strong winds made life difficult for the runners, and unsurprisingly PB’s were in short supply.
However, the same can’t be said for David Beech’s run at Albert Park parkrun. Continuing his recent fine form, David chipped away another couple of seconds off his 5k PB and is well within his target of a sub 16:30 time.
Well done to all the members who competed at parkrun during the weekend.
