CONGRATULATIONS to Tony Carter for speeding to victory in this mornings Newcastle parkrun to become the first (of many) first places from Tyne Bridge Harriers. TC was leading from the off and held firm all the way round the Town Moor 5K course crossing the finish line with a superb 16:30 time, 7 seconds clear of 2nd place James Buis from Heaton Harriers.
It was a day for the younger contingent of the club to be racing today and it was great to see Gary Wright out there for the first time on the course just narrowly missing the sub 20 (next time!! – DD) and always a joy to see Ms. Fenwick back at parkrun too. Well done to all.
