Just a reminder everyone that this Tuesday (15th November) is our Winter Series down on the Quayside, it is an exact 5k distance and crosses 2 of the Tyne’s Bridge’s – Millennium Bridge and the Swing Bridge.
The 1st Winter Series was a scratch race and was cut short as the Swing Bridge actually opened that night , every runner started at the same time and the Handicaps have been adjusted to suit for Tuesday.
If you were not in the 1st race don’t worry as your current form in training and any recent races will be taken into consideration when the Handicaps are set.
Basically the slower runners start before the faster runners and if everything goes to plan it will be a Blanket finish! Meet at Byker Pool as normal and we will make our way down to the start at 7 pm.
