Run Geordie Run joins Tyne Bridge Harriers

TBH with Mark Allison & his new Tyne Bridge Harriers vest

We are very honoured and thrilled to announce that Mark Allison the remarkable Geordie athlete who ran 3,100 miles from California to New York in 100 days recently and raised over £100,000 for charity has joined Tyne Bridge Harriers and hopefully will be attending his first training session with the club on Tuesday 20th September which coincides with our final ‘Summer Series’ GP Race (nowt like being thrown in at the deep end !!).

Members from TBH met Mark at the Quayside yesterday and it was obvious that Mark was excited to be joining the Black and Whites.

Mark signs on the dotted line

We as a club will help Mark reach his running goals and maybe just maybe he will wear the Tyne Bridge vest when he does the Great North Run.

Mark is planning another big fundraiser in the future and as he is now a member of our great club we will endeavour to help him as much as we can.

    Great signing.

The Black and white army of TBH will help Mark improve as a runner and help meet goals he wants to achieve.
