The trials for a place on the North East Team for the London Mini Marathon take place next weekend (Sunday 8th February) at Silksworth track, Sunderland.
The trial is one mile, with the first 4 in each race gaining automatic qualification, the remaining 2 per team are at the discretion of selectors. It’s competitive but is a great opportunity for our juniors to experience a one mile time trial on the track and great practice for our club championship on the 23rd May!
The timings for the trial day are as follows:
14:15 U14 boys – DOB 1 Sep 2012 – 31 Aug 2014 (school year 7 or 8)
14:30 U14 girls – DOB 1 Sep 2012 – 31 Aug 2014 (school year 7 or 8)
14:45 U16 boys – DOB 1 Sep 2010 – 31 Aug 2012 (school year 9 or 10)
15:00 U16 girls – DOB 1 Sep 2010 – 31 Aug 2012 (school year 9 or 10)
15:15 U18 boys – DOB 1 Sep 2008 – 31 Aug 2010 (school year 11 or 12)
15:30 U18 girls – DOB 1 Sep 2008 – 31 Aug 2010 (school year 11 or 12)
