Hi everybody,

Hope you all had a great Easter. Well done to all juniors who have trained and competed over the holidays, including some great results at the Good Friday and Quayside races.

A warm welcome back to training this week after the Easter break. All information below the club notices.

Just a reminder that this weekly update email is always posted on our website here if you need to refer back to it: Front Page – Tyne Bridge Harriers Juniors

Club notices:

Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) 7.45pm this coming Tuesday 29 April (East End Pool, Byker). All parents and guardians are welcome to attend the club AGM. The club constitution says parents or guardians of members may attend and speak at an AGM – but you do not have voting rights unless you are a club member in your own right. If you have any questions about the AGM itself, please drop me a line at  juniorsecretary@tynebridgeharriers.com and I will endeavour to answer it or find somebody who can!

Bridges of the Tyne Race, Tuesday 8 July (junior places available, volunteers required for marshalling and baking for the charity cake sale): This annual 5-mile race along the Tyne is organised by the club. There are 50 places for TBH members. Six places will go to the junior section (all juniors aged 15-18 on the race day, 8 July, are eligible).  We need volunteers and encourage all parents, guardians and juniors to get involved. The cake sale will support the charities If U Care Share and the RNLI and relies on baking by club members. This event is lots of fun and it’s great to support and cheer the competitors as they run along the Quayside.

Please fill out this form which covers the ballot, volunteering and baking for the charity cake sale: Bridges of the Tyne Ballot and Volunteering
