Well done to the TBH Juniors who ran cross-country at the weekend (Saturday, 7th January).

The course at Herrington Country Park was proper cross-country; wet, muddy and very challenging.

In the U11 Boys race, we had William Adams, Joe Eggett and Jake Moir taking part (although sadly, Jake had to drop out due to a sprained ankle).

Next up were Hope Moir, Anna Dorman and Katherine Bird in U11 Girls race. All three performed terrifically well, helping the club close a team in the race.

The U13 Girls saw Amelia Short and Eve Tovey compete for TBH, with Amelia finishing mid-pack and Eve just a few minutes behind.

Finally, we had the Dorman brothers, Jake and Finlay, competing in the U15 boys race. And boy what a close run thing it was. Starting in the ‘slow’ pack, Finlay had a sizeable advantage over his older brother, but after a fabulous run from the ‘Fast’ pack, Jake managed to claw back his brother, eventually passing him in the final 100m of the race. But well to the pair of them for giving 100% to the club.

Full results can Herrington can be found here, and the next Cross-Country fixture is at Thornley Hall Farm on Saturday, 11th February 2017.
