The TGA Consulting Bridges of the Tyne 5 mile road race takes places on Tuesday 8th July. Full details are available here. If you are a member of Tyne Bridge Harriers and would like to run in the Bridges of the Tyne race then you can enter the ballot for the chance to secure one of the 50 places available (please note you still have to pay the entry fee if you’re successful). 8 of the places will go to members who will form the most competitive Tyne Bridges Harriers’ teams. 6 places will go to the junior section (for juniors aged from 15 to 17 on the race day) and 36 places will go to the senior section. All places are split equally male and female. If you are unsuccessful in the ballot then we would still love to see you on the evening as we have a greater need for volunteers this year due to the work on the Tyne Bridge requiring a road closure for the event to go ahead.

Please note: Ballot places are not transferable. If you’re unable to use your ballot place then it will pass to the next person drawn who offered to volunteer.

Closing date for entry is 14th May with the ballot being drawn on 15th May.

This year’s charity bake sale will be in support of Leodhais Macpherson’s NCL to NYC run supporting If U Care Share and the RNLI. Would you be interested in supporting by baking some goods and would you be happy for us to pass your contact details to the organiser of the bake sale?
