December saw Tyne Bridge Harriers racing across a wide range of distances and locations throughout the festive period.
The popular Ronnie Walker Saltwell 10K attracted the month’s largest TBH contingent with 18 runners making the trip to Gateshead just before Christmas, whilst the Blyth Sands 5 saw 10 members brave the coastal conditions.
Laurentiu Craciunas won the RunThrough Lee Valley Velo Park 1 Mile in 5:12, whilst Amanda Crane finished an excellent 5th in the Run Northumberland Rothbury Winter 10K.
Personal bests were achieved throughout December, with Hannah Stewart and Victoria Michla both recording PBs at different races, alongside Ailsa Skelly and Rebecca Leigh at the Town Moor 10K.
The club’s racing extended beyond the North East, with Pete Waldock heading to Sheffield for the Percy Pud 10K, and Sparrow competing in the Generali Medio Maraton Malaga half marathon.
