We are pleased to confirm that club training sessions are taking place again, although for the immediate future group sessions will be limited in size until the club is happy that they can be carried out in a safe and enjoyable manner.
This month’s training sessions – to be carried out in accordance with the latest government guidelines – can be viewed below,
(terms; GRP – Goal Race Pace, 10MP – 10 Mile Race Pace, HMP – Half Marathon Pace, MP – Marathon Pace)

Group Session: Short Hills (example 10 x 1 minute efforts)
Solo Session: 40 minutes continuous run (15 mins @HMP, 10 mins @10MP, 10 mins @10K pace, 5 mins @5K pace)
Track Session: (1×500, 1×300) x6
w/c 10th May
Group Session: 4 x 4 minutes @5K pace
Solo Session: 20 minutes @10MP, 4 x 90 seconds efforts
Track Session: 5 x 1000m
w/c 17th May
Group Session: 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 minute efforts
Solo Session: 30 minutes ‘Kenyan Hills’
Track Session: 4 x 1M
w/c 24th May
Group Session: 2 sets (10 x 30s sprint/30s jog)
Solo Session: 2 x 20 minutes @10K pace
Track Session: tba
All sessions should include warm-up and cool-down runs.
