  1. Special mention to Paul Dalton, who ran a superb 36m 52s.

Paul recently took part in the club’s 5 Mile road race (supplying a fantastic race report for our website) and a sub-36 minute time must surely be in the reckoning soon.

On a personal level, it was great to see so many of my parkrun pals during the race. Well done guys.

Paul Dalton did 18.14 for Albert Park Run yesterday as well, great running 2 x pb’s in 24 hours. Joe Turner has ran a cracker today, well done to Shaun Brown for joining the sub 40 club and well done to Natalie, Steve Compton and Andy Lisle for great pb’s, Anybody else pb?

Excellent times from all TBH’s although beat my pb by just over 30 secs, the best part of the run was the support from other TBH runners passing on the outward & return loops, also Micky D & DD cheering from the sidelines! well done everyone.

Thanks very much for the mentions, guys – very much appreciated. Obviously over the moon with my new PB’s, however they are just the benchmark for me to beat next time out…

Might I see a strong contingent of Tyne Bridge Harriers at my hometown race, the Darlington 10K, on Sunday, 12th August 2012? I seem to recall there were a few TBH’s there last year…

Last year’s Darlington 10K was my first ever road race, so it’s a little bit special for me. It’s not the most inspiring course I’ve ever ran, and not the most challenging, but it’s worth a crack. I posted a fairly respectable 41:59 last year, however obviously I’ll be hoping to beat that this year!

If any TBH’s are free on the 12th, and are looking for a run, it would be great to see some of you in Darlington. Entries close on Friday though, so you’ll have to be quick!

    1. Hi Paul, TBH will be at Darlo. I think there’s going to be a dozen or so members making their way down so we’ll try to keep up with you ;-)

Ha ha, I’ve had a quick look at some of the times TBH’s posted in last year’s Darlington 10K, and I think I’ll still be doing the chasing! :-)

Great to see so many TBH’s in Darlington for the 10K race this morning (even if most of you beat me, lol…). Hope those that came down to Darlington enjoyed the race as much as I did!
