TBH Summer GP 2012 – Race 3 Results

On a balmy summer evening, 69 members turned out for Race 3 of the club’s Summer Grand Prix series.

First over the finishing line was Bridgette shaw, in a time of 18m 06s. Going off scratch, Bridgette finished the race almost 90 seconds ahead of second placed runner, Katy Worrall.

It was a night to remember for the ladies, as they occupied the first 10 finishing positions, although striking a blow for the men was Tony Carter, who ran the quickest time of the night with 10m 26s.

Many thanks to all the runners for turning out and supporting the event, and thanks also, to the members who volunteered their services tonight.

Race results can be found below, and an updated points table will be published soon.

  1. Apologies to Gail Allan and the other lasses who took a wrong turn during the race. I would love to amend your times (and finishing positions) but it’s getting late and I don’t think my head could cope with modifying the results ;-)

Just to say that I really enjoyed that one. Great course, perfect conditions and good craic with the lasses and lads. There’s no way to improve this little race, it’s a cracker!
