LongSands Barefoot Sessions – (Video)

Tyne Bridge Harriers hold barefoot running sessions on Long Sands in Tynemouth from time to time. These sessions include Drills, Plyometrics, Sprinting, a bit of splashing and some plodging. As well as being something different and great fun, they are also great training for a more efficient forefoot strike style of running.

These two videos hopefully show both the great training as well as the fun element involved in our barefoot running sessions, which is what we like to combine in all of our training work.

Enjoy

Special thanks go to Su Kirtley for filming us in action

Keep your eyes peeled for our next session as they are usually arranged quite spontaneously with just one days notice.

Please get in touch if you would like to join Tyne Bridge Harriers & get involved with our training sessions.

See you on the beach

If that doesn’t get an oscar nom for editing then there’s no justice in the world. Fantastic :-)

Just one question, how soon before all the members get character names?

What a brilliant video – are you sure this isn’t an updated ‘Chariots of Fire’? What is the soundtrack? One serious question – if we really are Tyne Bridge Harriers, shouldn’t he be called ‘Spuggy’ instead of ‘Sparrow’?

I’m pleased you enjoyed it. It’s only a matter of time before everyone in the club appears on one of these videos :-) & character names will be present LOL. Send me any suggestions you may have Dave for the future ;-)
