To comply with guidance from both the UK Government and England Athletics we regrettably have to suspend group training sessions until further notice.
We know that many people would like to continue with their training and would encourage individuals to do this responsibly – but would specifically ask that training sessions aren’t organised from the pool nor the club’s social media pages used to organise 1 plus 1 gatherings.
This month’s training sessions – to be carried out in accordance with the latest government guidelines – can be viewed below,
Tuesday 5th: 8 x 3 minutes @ 10K Goal Race Pace (GRP), with 1 minute jog recoveries
Thursday 7th: 1 x 5 minutes, 2 x 2m 30s, 5 x 1 minute, 10 x 30 seconds
Tuesday 12th: 30 minutes run @ Half Marathon Pace (HMP) on undulating route
Thursday 14th: 10 x 2 minutes @ 5K GRP, with 1 minute jog recoveries
Tuesday 19th: 5 mins/4 mins/5 mins/3 mins/5 mins/2 mins/5 mins/1 minute
(5 min efforts @ HMP, efforts in bold at 10K GRP, 30 seconds jog between each effort).
Thursday 21st: 40 minutes Progression Run
Tuesday 26th: 25 minutes run @ 10M GRP, with 30 seconds sprints every 4m 30s
Thursday 28th: 4 minutes/4 minutes/4 minutes/4 minutes
(efforts in italics @ 10K GRP, efforts in bold at 5K GRP, 90 seconds jog between each effort).
When restrictions are lifted, people interested in trying out a TBH training session are welcome to contact the club.
