The third race of the competition takes place this Sunday, 23rd April, at the Terry O’Gara 5K.
Members can enter the President’s Shield at any time during the year, but previous race results will not count towards their final score.
Read below for competition details.
The President’s Shield is a free-to-enter competition open to ALL TBH members.
Members compete in a series of pre-selected races throughout the year, with points awarded on participation and finishing position. Bonus points are also awarded for winning an individual or team prize. (note: members must pay their own entry fee for each race).
To make the competition fair for all members, participation points are awarded on a sliding scale, so members from the five training groups are awarded different points (Group 1 runners 15 pts – Group 5 runners 75 pts)
There are ten scoring events, with the best eight results counting towards a member’s final score.
If you would like to take part in the competition, simply add your name/training group to the comments section below.
