Congratulations to Marc Fenwick, Tyne Bridge Harriers’ Member of the Month for August 2016
Marc had a remarkable month, finishing 3rd overall in the Darlington 10K, posting quickest legs at the Gosforth and Durham relays (helping the team win 1st prize at Durham) and finishing 6th in the Gateshead Quayside 5K.
Marc’s performance during the Quayside 5K was significant for a couple of reasons; his time of 14m 54s was not only a Personal Best (Marc’s 1st 5K sub 15 minutes time) but also a new club record.
Several committee members have known Marc for over ten years, and whilst he’s always been a quality runner in that time, his recent improvement and dedication to running should be an inspiration to us all.
