Well done to everyone who represented the club in the latest fixture of the North East Harrier League (Saturday, 5th March 2016).
A terrific performance by the Senior Women saw the team finish 1st on the day, and help move the club into 2nd position in the Division One table.
An equally solid performance by the Senior Men – with 30 members turning out for the club – saw the team finish 2nd on the day (behind Sunderland Harriers) and move into 2nd position in the Division One table.
It’s going to need a truly amazing performance by the club to retain their titles from last year, but with all sporting competition, anything can happen on the day (Wimbledon FC in 1988 anyone?) so let’s give it one final effort at Wrekenton on the 19th March.
