Self-transcendence 24 Hour Race: Saturday 19th September 2015
Huge praise to Izzy Cairns for running 19 hours – covering 84 miles – during this endurance event which involves running continuous laps around a running track.
As someone who has ran several marathons, I can’t imagine the physical and mental strength required to run a couple of hours on a track, let a lone 19!!
