This Saturday, September 1st, is race 5 of the club’s parkrun summer series.
Held on the first Saturday of the month, the six-race series takes place at Newcastle parkrun and consists of a timed 5k run around Newcastle Town Moor. Following the race, members are awarded an Age Grading* which is turned into points.
David Appleby currently leads the way with 308.84pts, with Penny Wilmott in 2nd place, on 207.54 pts.

All members are welcome to take part in the series, but must be registered with parkrun as a Tyne Bridge athlete.
