This Saturday, 7th July, sees the third race of the club’s parkrun Summer Series being held at Newcastle Exhibition Park. And after two of the six scheduled races, David Appleby is the clear leader on 155.89 points.
To score, members must be registered with parkrun (www.parkrun.org) and compete at Newcastle parkrun. After the results have been processed, runners are awarded an Age Grading (depending upon their race time, age and gender), which is then converted into points.
The member with the most points at the end of the series is declared the winner.
