Tyne Bridge had runners scattered far and wide on Saturday, with members taking part in 3 different parkrun events around the British Isles.
Up in bonny Scotland, Vanessa Lawrence took part in the Edinburgh parkrun, whilst closer to home, 4 members ran the altered 5k course around Newcastle Town Moor.
Finally, making the trek down to the coast for the inaugral Whitley parkrun, were over a dozen Tyne Bridge harriers who made a massive contribution to the fantastic attendence of 209. With our very own, Tony (where are my shoes?) Carter, making history by being the first person to finish the event.

Whilst its nice to see myself finishing 2nd for TBH behind TC, there was in fact another black an white vest, that of Mike Norbury between us. Other TBH runners not listed include Stephen Dixon and Vicki Deritis who both forgot their barcodes

another parkrun to mark in your diaries is the Riverside event (Chester-Le-Street) which starts in a few week’s time. Can we ‘win’ that one too?
