This Tuesday, June 12th, sees the 3rd event in the club’s Summer Series.
Members are encouraged to meet at Byker Pool at the normal time and get a pre-race warm up by jogging to the start on Armstrong Bridge in Jesmond Dene. Alternatively, members can meet at the Bridge at 6.30 for a 7pm start.
So far the inspirational Diane Pringle is leading the pack with 149 pts, a single point ahead of Caroline Smith on 148 pts. Imran Mohammed currently leads the Men’s standings with 139pts. The overall winner of the event will be presented with the Summer Series cup at our presentation night in December.

The point system works by the winner of the race on the night being awarded 100 pts and 2nd place awarded 99pts, 3rd 97pts and so on.
The 1st race was not a handicapped race so those who took part in that race automatically got 50pts.
