The 5th Meeting in the Start Fitness NEHL Series takes place on Saturday 3rd March 2012

FIXTURE 5. ALNWICK HARRIERS. The Pastures, Alnwick Castle Estates

Directions to the venue.

FROM A1 South.
Leave the A1 at Sign post Alnwick.
Straight ahead at roundabout.
Continue to second roundabout (mini) straight ahead into town.
Pass Alnwick Infirmary on right and turn right at War Memorial sign posted Denwick.
After 500m turn right into Alnwick Garden Car Park.

PARKING.
Charges will be £3.50 in main car park or £2.00 in Overflow Car park per day
Leave car at park and walk via Denwick Road to Pastures Entry (Approx 500m).
Please follow direction signs and marshal’s instructions

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE MAIN ROAD OR VERGES OF THE DENWICK ROAD

REGISTRATION
Toilets, Limited changing, and Registration are at Bailliff Gate School
(2 Port a Loos are available for use near the Start) (Follow directions as above,
BUT instead of turning to Denwick continue through town centre to Castle Entrance.
The school is opposite side of road from entrance. Note Parking is limited in
this area.

Please note that this is 1 mile from the start/finish area. There will be no race parking in the pastures (Except First Aid & Officials). Please only park while you register or change, and then park at Gardens Car Park.

12:30 U13’s
13:15 Senior Men
14:20 Senior Women

    Lads/lasses The £2 overflow car park is obviously cheaper but also nearer the start.

  1. Just to inform you as well that the car parking charge is being made by Alnwick Garden and not us. We’ll not be seeing a penny of it!

    You would think Alnwick Garden would make a contribution towwards the club. Even 50p per car as I would imagine most people will not even go into Alnwick Garden that day. Free money for them.

    Anyone know what the course is like? Gradient etc? fast course? 6 miles?
