Natural Hero to the Rescue !

HUGE thanks to our friends at Natural Hero, who have asked us to try out their new Hot Ginger Muscle Rub.

The Newcastle based company, who have only been trading since July this year, have kindly sent us a large supply of the product for our sore aching limbs.

“The Hot Ginger Muscle Rub with Borage, Fennel & Rosemary is packed with heroic botanics that help fight fatigue, soothe, warm & restore.”

For anyone attending the Summer Series GP Race on Tuesday evening, there will be a lovely sample of Hot Ginger Muscle Rub for you to try out after your 2 mile blast around Jesmond Dene.

The company will also have a stand with samples at the finish line of the Great North Run on Sunday so, if you get the chance please visit them and say hello.

Natural Hero would love to hear what we think of their recovery product so please leave your comments below.

I used some on my calves after the Great North Run and found it to work brilliantly. Very soothing & very warming !! :-) it’s not greasy like some products and it smells fantastic. It really eased the tension and soreness in my legs. Top marks all round I’d say. I fancy trying the cool peppermint spritz too.

Agree. Used it after the Grand Prix run last night on my calves, worked really well. Will definitely invest in a pot …

I liked it and certainly didn’t expect it to be as HOT as it was. My lower calves and quads were still a bit stiff from Sunday and I gave them a good rub down with the stuff. I was hoping to be able to give them a bit more of a massage but it was absorbed a bit more rapidly than expected, but i think this was more my miss understanding of it as a muscle rub as opposed to a massage type of lotion.

  2. Really impressed with this product. After picking up a calf strain during the Great North Run I applied the cream and massaged the affected area for about 10mins, this gave a warming relief and I really felt that there was genuine improvement. Does exactly what it says on the tin! Also great to use a natural product and one that is produced locally.

Being Ginger myself I knew the powers it had to offer, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Haha.

Having done the Great North Run on Sunday I was feeling really tight in my calfs and quads. It was a brilliant relief to have at the end of the race on Tuesday night – providing a surprisingly hot effect on my muscles once applied! Felt fantastic afterwards, certainly will be investing in some for after races in the future. Smelt great too and absorbed into my skin really well! 10/10

Used this on Tuesday night, it soothed my aching legs and warmed them up at the same time!
