Tranwell Woods
Our very first Club Championship Race will be held at the Morpeth 10K on Tuesday 2nd August Race starts at 19:30 & is hosted by Morpeth Harriers.
It’s a 2 lap course, around the scenic Tranwell Woods, with the first of each lap being a bit uphill. It’s another great club runners race with a similar feel to Tynedale, so I’m hoping to have even more TBH runners there than we had at Tynedale this week!!
As it’s a Club Race, we are putting in a block entry for this and would expect that Tyne Bridge Harriers will be hugely represented on the night.. (see if we can get everyone out.. what a fantastic sight that would be !!).
Club entries are only £8.00 and the closing date is 25th July, so please get your name down for this ASAP (on the World Famous Spreadsheet) before Thursday 21st July & let Dave ‘there’s only one’ Moir have your dosh before then. First 300 entries receive a commemorative mug of the event.
Travel arrangements will be sorted out nearer the time. If you have transport and can get runners to Morpeth on the night, please let us know.
The first Tyne Bridge Harrier over the line will be our first Club Champion and will be presented with the Club Championship Trophy at the Annual Awards Ceremony to be held at the end of the year, where we will all have plenty to cheer about (even if you’re not called Dave
