Double D heats it up in London

Just one week after his fantastic 7th placing in the Edinburgh Half Marathon, our very own Dave “Double D” Daniels put in a scorching performance at the Virgin London Marathon today crossing the finish line in a blistering 2:50:01 and a brand new pb and also a brand new club record for the distance.

Conditions in the smoke were tough and the heat certainly affected a lot of the runners taking part, but Dave powered through to proudly fly the flag for Tyne Bridge Harriers

Hopefully, we will have a full report from the man himself very soon.

Well done Dave on this fantastic achievement!

Other Tyne Bridge Harriers out in the field (& the portaloos) were Rob Kirtley who completed the 26.2 in 4:18:12 (pb)
